If you enjoy gun or bow Hunting and the Great Outdoors – then it’s time to make reservations for a trip to Alabama’s Whetstone Plantation. Just a few miles from a major metropolitan area, you will feel as though you have traveled to a time when life was calm and graceful. 1997 was the first year the plantation was open for Guided Deer Hunts and our 4 to 5 year old deer will weigh approximately 180-235 pounds and often score between 130-165 Boone and Crockett.
I wanted to send a quick note to All at AWPI telling you that I really enjoyed my hunt trip with you 1/12 -1/15 -2023. You are doing an awesome job with your game management program on your property. The attention to detail is evident as I was able to observe deer at every stand I hunted. Many does and young bucks were sighted, along with several larger bucks that were very close to the requirements for harvest. There is no doubt that big mature bucks roam the property. Maybe on my next trip it will be my turn to harvest one of them ! The lodge was clean and comfortable, and the meals were excellent! The hospitality was exceptional.
